The bar graph above compares the time since the last doctor's visit for the Vietnamese, API , and non-Hispanic white populations. The data have been age-adjusted to enable comparisons across populations which may have different age distributions. The length of time since the last physician contact did not differ greatly among the three groups. Compared to whites, more Vietnamese had not seen a doctor for over 5 years (4.4% Vietnamese compared to 3% whites and 4.9% APIs), and less Vietnamese had seen a doctor in the last year (76.7% compared to 79.6% of whites).
