Benefits to Project Participants

FY 2006 VACAP participants will receive the following benefits:

•  A full-time fellow working with the organization for 11 months. NAVASA will compensate the fellow's expenses for relocation, travel, cost-of-living, and benefits

•  Assistance from NAVASA in program planning and development in housing, employment, senior care, education, and healthcare

•  Assistance from NAVASA in building the organization's capacity, and developing a plan for obtaining resources to meet the specific needs of the community

•  A complete community and/or organizational needs assessment

•  Organization name will be included in all VACAP outreach materials, thus, will increase exposure of participating organization to a wider community
